When will my flight be rescheduled?
my flight from new york to west palm beach was cancelled last night at around 10 p.m. because of the upcoming bad weather. i need to get down there as soon as possible and i was wondering how long it took for flights to be rescheduled my flight wasnt until 7.40 this evening and all flights down to west palm were cancelled because of the upcoming storm

well could have happen a hour after they cancelled should have started asking question then should be at airport waiting shouldnt have left air port so best you just start calling them and asking about it

Canceled flights never get rescheduled. They no longer exist. That's the meaning of canceled. The airplane you were supposed to fly on, and every other airplane that airline has will be flying todays schedule. It is very unusual to have an extra airplane available to make up a canceled flight. You need to stay in touch with your airline and hope that they can find you a vacant seat on one of their flights today or possibly on a competitors airline. It would help if you were willing to wait at the airport in the hopes of getting a standby seat. The bad news is it could take several days to find you a seat. If you're in a real hurry ask about flights to Ft. Lauderdale and Vero Beach. You'll have to rent a car but you might get there a lot quicker. I've done that myself a couple of times. In case you were wondering you are not entitled to any compensation for a flight that was canceled or delayed because of weather.
