Should I schedule a flight in hopes of running into "hotness" in my connecting city?
I've scheduled some vacation time soon. It turns out my destination has changed; I'll be flying to see a sick relative for a few days instead of the beach. Not as excited, but something I decided to do with my time. Well in looking at flights, the connecting flights will land in a city where my a special friend lives. We aren't dating, but talking/getting to know each other. We like each other, but it's a bit early to make it official yet. But we've talked about the next time either one of us is in town in each other's city that we would chill and would kick it with each other. WELL... I'm starting to think a lil sinister here... I'm thinkin what if I schedule my flight where my connecting lands in his city? This way IF I have a problem, i get delayed or something crazy I'd have the option to call and say 'hey, I know it's very last minute but, I'm in your city and I'm delayed/plane trouble/flight is cancelled - do you have time to hang?' Realizing it's a long shot that I'd have a delay or he'd be available, but why not put it in play while i have the option of choosing my flight route?! Just in case?? Thoughts?? Okay... thanks! I'm a female though, let's keep that in mind LOL!

You could get a flight that has like a couple hour lay over so you could go see her.

Why don't you just say that you'd like to visit him and make the plans accordingly? Why be so "covert" about it if you guys have talked about it before?

Honestly? Just call them up and see if he is are free when making your travel plans. Actually schedule a flight with a long layover! That way you can see your friend, since you have talked about meeting up, and since you are not going to the beach, you might as well have some fun before taking care of a sick relative!

Honey just do it, you certainly wont be the first to have tried this with with a man! (hell i did it in Germany and it worked wonders!!!) Certainly make a layover in his city it will definatly be worth your time. Besides the worst that could happen is he would say no right. then you sit in an airport for a while and read a book or do what you do. Be sly though, hell maybe tell him your flight was canceled and you need a place to stay for the night, could be a fun evening yes?

If you c an afford the time and money, go for it. Have a blast.
